Boho in New York
On this rainy Bank Holiday weekend we are off to Brooklyn to snoop around the super cool home of journalist, author, designer, brand consultant, and adventurer Julia Chaplin. She is a frequent contributor to The New York Times, Elle, W, and Travel & Leisure. Julia also wrote the awesomely inspiring Gypset book series that includes Gypset Style (2009), Gypset Travel (2012) and Gypset Living (2014). She also designs and runs the Gypset clothing collection. Julia’s philosophy about furnishing a house is “only buy what you love” and the two storey house is surprisingly minimalist…A cool mix of boho, vintage and contemporary pieces. My favorite is the Camaleonda sofa, a 1970s design by Mario Bellini, my all time favorite sofa! Love it?
