Colour | Part 2 A Splash Of Colour
You may remember last week we spoke about accent colour, don’t worry if you missed the post you can read it here. This week I want to share with you my new discovery, the beautiful and colourful online store “A Splash of Colour” …But first let’s talk a little more about accent colours…In my opinion accent is the easiest way to introduce and experiment a little with colour. If, like me, you favour neutrals such as black, white, grey then pretty much any colour can become an accent colour. It could be a cushion, a picture on the wall, a vase, flowers, plants, lights, books, a chair, well, you get the idea! A Splash of Colour makes this process so easy simply by letting you browse by colour just for us colour phobics! But rest assured if you are still not convinced, there are plenty of awesome designer pieces in black, grey and white! Have a look here!
With a background in PR and marketing and a passion for design, founder Natasha Broady explains: “My philosphy for asplashofcolour.com is simple – I want to show people how easy it is to lift your home with the use of colour. You don’t have to be an interior designer or have pockets of money to create a cool and exciting space. Through a carefully curated edit, ‘A Splash of Colour’ showcases bright and inspirational products from a range of designers. I’m excited by each and every product and I hope you are too.” What do you think? Tempted? I know I am!
