You will probably be familiar with the name Bert & May, they are, after all, the coolest kid on the block in the interior world! Their range of reclaimed and handmade tiles are second to none, their uniquely crafted kitchens are the finest, their bathroom concrete sinks are the best ever and their garden “sheds” really knock it out of the park.
But we’re here today to talk about their new range of Eco paints available in no less than 55 yummy colours! Bert and May’s Eco Emulsion paint is water based, breathable, free of all solvents and lead, and suitable for both internal and external walls. From a practical point of view, the paint is wipe-able (perfect for kids) , water resilient and delivers a beautifully soft matt finish which I love.
The colours have been carefully chosen and inspired from the natural tones found within their tile range. Here are some of my favourite colours, says me who only ever uses black or white!
I feel it’s time to venture out of my comfort zone and grant my daughter’s wish to have a “tasteful pink not Barbie pink bedroom”! I’ve been totally won over by Opium, I call it vintage pink and I am planning on mixing it up with a rattan bed a vintage chest of drawers and oodles of linen. Super excited! Keep checking back as I will be posting the progress!
So what do you think? Definitely go over to the Bert & May website and check out the all the other colours, all the paints are made by hand in London. Any questions message the lovely people at Bert & May, they are super helpful.
