Another Wednesday, another stunning House of Instagram! This week we are in The Hills district, North West Sydney visiting Lisa’s and husband Lawrence’s beautiful home. I have to say it’s hard to believe they have only lived there for 4 months! Lisa’s style is simple, Scandinavian, understated and elegant. The house is a new build and the couple have waisted no time into injecting their own stamp and personality into the place. It took them a while to find the right place as they were keen to implement both their roots into it. Lawrence is from Korea, Lisa is Dutch…
“He taught me the importance of good Feng Sui, I taught him the importance of good craftsmanship. Our interest and cultural background has led to this custom designed, light and airy home with a good energy flow.”
Lisa is not afraid to take on DIY projects like the stools, bedroom cushions, moodboard and bath caddy! But perhaps her biggest achievement to date is the wonderful Parker Knoll chair which were a Gumtree lucky find! After sanding and reupholstering it, it now sits proudly in the living room.Lisa’s favourite room is the study with its impressive custom built desk and storage. Mine would have to be the bedroom with its graphic wallpaper which makes a fabulous feature wall behind the bed.
Thank you to Lisa and Lawrence for showing us round, if you would like to see more then follow Lisa on Instagram here.
If you would like your house featured here then please message me or comment below. Happy Wednesday!
