I discovered London born Buster + Punch very recently. They describe themselves as a home fashion label and if I had to describe them in two words they would be craftsmanship and individuality. London architect and industrial designer Massimo Buster Minale launched the Buster + […]
You may remember a post I did in September about Nook London, if you missed it you can check it here but if you’re into industrial and vintage design then you will love them. So, I am so happy to hear these guys are hitting the high street this Christmas in the form of Brief, a two months pop up store in busy Upper Street, London. From the 12th November until the 9th January the store will showcase the entire Nook collection as well as a collaboration of homeware and lifestyle brands perfectly curated under one roof!
Brief will take home to a 600sqft retail space in North East London, transformed into a factory-esque store.Inspired by the industrial era, each of the 14 collaborative brands have been selected for their similar aesthetic, ethos and of course their must have products range.
So put this date in your diary,12th November and head over to 126 Upper Street to have a nosey and a wee drink! Many of the brands will be there in person, and it is always exciting to meet the “makers”! I’ll be there!
Brief will be open seven days a week with extending opening hours towards Christmas, late night shopping on Thursdays. Also check out their brand spanking new website.
Based in East London, Nook London was founded in 2011 by St Martins Grad Hattie Hollins. It is home to a leading brand of vintage and industrial inspired lighting, Nostalgia Lights. The new Autumn Winter 2015 catalogue has just come out, a brand spanking new website due […]
The weather has been pretty miserable this weekend so I decided to snuggle up on the sofa and look through the new HK Living collection and wow what a treat not least because it was beautifully photographed by the very talented Paulina Arcklin whose work I totally love! The 2016 collection is an eclectic one with an emphasis on simplicity and an even bigger range of industrial lamps.More pics than I would usually share with you but hey it is HK Living AND Paulina Arcklin!
