Autumn is definitely with us now, the wind, the rain, the evenings getting shorter but on a positive note Autumn means Design Festival in London with a host of trade shows, yippee! The first one on Sunday was held at the Olympia and it promised to be the biggest Autumn edition of Top Drawers and Home all under one roof.Everything from stationary to furniture and lighting without forgetting tea, coffee and cakes! It was my first time at the show and I wasn’t disappointed.Over the next few weeks I will feature 2 or 3 of the brands that really caught my eye but in the meantime some pictures of my favorite stands.Enjoy!
First of award winning East London based designer Ella Doran renowned for her product portfolio of modern home accessories and colourful homewares. Placemats and coasters, trays, ceramic tableware, cushions and umbrellas as well as paper products, such as diaries, greeting cards, calendars, gift wrap/bags, wallpapers and rugs.
Next up Nkuku ( pronounced Nuh-ku-ku)…they need no introduction, their stand was absolute perfection and as always true to their ethical, Eco friendly and Handmade ethos.
Acacia Design with the launch of their industrial chic range and my personal favorite, the Tipi Range…All British made, all stunningly beautiful.Such a pleasure meeting Janine McGaff.
And last the uber cool and quirky Temerity Jones with their eclectic range of homewares and gifts.
