I have to admit I was giddy with excitement when I spotted this place in Coté Maison. As soon as I saw it belonged to King of repurposing Stuart Haygarth, I knew it was going to be damn right amazing. If you are not familiar with the Stuart’s work then google his name click on images and you will see how talented the man is! Better still look on his website here! The loft he shares with his photographer wife and daughter Billie is located in Shoreditch, London and is of course full of vintage repurposed items, from the bookcases to the 1920s smoked glass lamps in the kitchen area. Also worth mentioning the blue Smeg fridge which brings a little colour. The loft which use to be an old factory is almost entirely open plan and retain most of its original features such as the amazing oak floor. What do you think?
Small spaces needn’t be white, boring or sparsely furnished…quite the opposite! Embrace your smallness and be bold and daring with colour! This studio apartment is the perfect example.Located in Manhattan, it is the home of British prop stylist Ben Brougham. His style: whimsy and eclectic.Ben is also a collector, kitchenalia, glass, portraits, textiles and his latest obsession…vintage photographs of sailors…oh and in case you’re wondering…that blue wall is Benjamin Moore,s surf blue! Love it?
